Hi, my name is Ellie Hammack, and I am an Austin, Texas-based artist and illustrator with a BA in biology.  I enjoy working in a wide range of media, both traditional and digital, with a common thread of surrealism running through most of my art.  My background in biology has been a huge source of inspiration for me.  I draw on my knowledge of science, nature, and the human form, to explore humanity’s relationship to the rest of life on Earth.  

I also do commission work.  Music is another passion of mine, and living in the Live Music Capital, I often gravitate toward album and merch art design.  I love translating a musical artist's sound into imagery that reflects spirit of their work.
